Is it a wagger, or a wager?

Pastor Myron tells a story of a woman who went to her counselor, frustrated over the lack of attention her husband was giving her.

She complained:

"He doesn't pay any attention to me!  When he gets home from work, the first thing he does ...is take that dog of his for a walk!"

The counselor nods:

"Yes, I've seen that many times."

Desperately, she asks:

"What can be done about it?"

The counselor hesitates:

"Well, if you'd jump up and down ...and wag your tail, as soon as he comes in the door, he'd probably take you for a walk too."

Some spouses complain because they feel they are "treated like a dog" ...well, in this case it offered some reasonable advice.

And it's not the size of the tail, it's the exuberance with which it is wagged.   Our boxer does not have much of a tail, but it rivals a hummingbird's wings with its rapid back-and-forth ...usually when it's on all fours.
